Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie

~ serves 1, paleo, dairy-free, gluten-free

- 1 ¼ cup almond milk

- 1 small banana (frozen makes it super creamy, I pre-slice mine prior to freezing)

- 5-6 medium frozen strawberries

- 1 TBSP ground flaxseed

- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder of choice

- 2 ice cubes

- 1 large handful spinach

*optional 1 teaspoon of honey to sweeten if you’d like

     Place all ingredients in a high power blender and blend until completely uniform. This is great made ahead and stored in the fridge until morning or freeze multiple batches for easy grab-and-go breakfasts.
